Welcome to Care and Company Ltd

Care and Company was formed in 1996 by Sally Corbin.

As the company developed and recruited more people to work in the community, it became recognised by Social Services and is an approved provider of care for West Sussex County Council..Some of the people recruited in those early days remain with us today. In January 2001 Sally and her husband Chris purchased a similar organisation, Phoenix Community Care. 

Care & Company Ltd. was formed in 2002 it was the proprietor of both, Care & Company & Phoenix Community Care until both organisations were joined together in July 2004.

Care & Company Ltd. developed a management system to use in providing its care services. Chris was instrumental in designing the systems and ensures the administration team are fully conversant with its use.

The main business incentive is that well trained staff are best placed to provide the  high quality care that the people who use our services rightly expect.   Care & Company Ltd. is recognised as a training organisation and holds the Investors In People Award.

Care & Company Ltd met all of the Minimum Care Standards when inspected by the government Inspectorate and is registered with the Care Quality Commission.

As more and more people remain in their own homes the company needs more and more community support workers to meet the demands put upon it. Therefore we are continuously recruiting and training staff.

Care & Company are keen to maintain a high standard of care services and welcomes the National Guidelines for Domiciliary care. The Inspectorate visits our offices to carry out a full inspection.They also make enquiries and gather information from our staff and clients alike. The Company is an Approved Provider of Domiciliary Care for West Sussex County Council Social Services and works in partnership with them in delivering care services to the local community.
